i ordered this ds game for my grandson who is 7 yrs. ancient. he likes the game alot. it has very excellent effects on it. he also has the transformers autobots game. this are alot alike. both very excellent games.

I bought this game without even knowing how fun it could be. For DS there are two versions and I dont know anything about Transformers. This game is like Grand Theft Auto minus blood as one review said. Its very fun and I have yet to get sick of it. I highly recommend this game.

Transformers: Decepticons is a clean game, if hard.
Tale:
A variation on the movie, the tale of Transformers: Decepticons is pretty clean. Various plot elements (e.g. Barricade chasing Bumblebee) are in the movie as well as the game, while others (e.g. Megatron’s weapons chip being stolen) are not in the movie, but are in the game. Though the plot bounces around a bit, it’s still pretty clean. My rating- ****
Gameplay:
The difficulty level is a bit high; kids under 10 might be frustrated. The difficulty level is also somewhat sporadic, as one of the middle levels is unbelievably simple. On the plus side, the ability to scan different vehicle forms is pretty clean. My rating- ***^ (three and a half stars)
Graphics and Sound:
The graphics are pretty excellent, especially the Transformers. The various environments are also a plus. The music is nothing special, but nothing annoying either. The sound effects and voice acting are also pretty excellent. My rating- ****

Near the beginning of the game, you kill the protagonist of Transformers – Autobots.
Overall:
In summary, this game is a nifty play, especially if you like Transformers and loved the movie. It’s slightly better than Transformers: Autobots because you can attack the humans, but that’s just me. My rating- ***^

The only thing I was dispointed in was the game did not come with instrutions to play the game. Otherwise the game was fun for the person I gave it too.

my 9 year ancient son found some aspects of the game hard to know and this frustrated him. he was miserable not being able to handle it as he wanted to.
